Found a “twin” to my opal pendant!

Hi all, so I popped into a local antique fair today and immediately spotted this from across the room and couldn’t believe the similarity to my existing black opal pendant (inherited).

Original is one on the right, new one left.
(Sorry for awful pic). Will take more tomorrow.


Bloke who sold it thought it was a triplet in brass, I got it for $150. Got it home & gently cleaned & polished it up. Turns out to be 9ct gold & solid crystal opal! The quality & detail isn’t on par with my other one but definitely very similar... Plenty of brilliant colourful flashes, even some red. What a find!

Anyone know anything about this style of pendant? What era is it from?

Gorgeous! They are both wonderful. What a great find.
They look 1890's - 1910's. I think there is an Art Nouveau vibe with the floral style.
Just my guess!

Not much information about what era etc unfortunately but lovely to look at!

Wait might be onto something here... most seem to say 'Arts & Crafts Era" which I gather is 1890's-1920's.

Looks like common theme of delicate wiring, lots of leaves & berries. Opals set in miligrain bezel.
