Forged vs Cast

Hello all, longtime lurker that has finally built up the courage to post haha...

I went to see a platinumsmith, david adams (davidadams.com), that convinced me that the handmade rings he forges are better and will last longer than the cast rings.

(the ring I am looking at is the vatche swan paved...)

this ring, if handmade, would cost me about 600 more. It seems special to have a handmade ring but i wanted to get some second opinions as he makes it sounds too good to be true...

any help will be appreciated look forward to contributing on ps...

I would agree with David.

Cast platinum rings can be very good, but hand forged platinum rings by a master platinumsmith are usually better, and more expensive.
