Forever10 cut?

Anyone ever seen this type of cut before? It has 10 hearts and 10 arrows as opposed to the typical 8. Just curious...I just noticed it on a local jeweler''s website and was wondering if anyone had any knowledge to share. Thanks!

I don''t know but I recently saw a white sapphire with 16 I was just looking at rings and was really confused for a minute.

Isnt that just a solasfera? but diff branding?

There have been a number of 10-cuts. Solasfera is a 91-facet version; I''d imagine the Forever is slightly different (?)

Here is a list of proprietary cuts. Does anyone know which was the first 10-cut?

Thanks John, what a cool resource. The jeweler''s website doesn''t specify if the Forever10 is a patented cut, so I''m guessing it''s probably just a different brand name...I will research some other threads to see people''s discussions on the comparisons between the usual number of facets on a RB and the extra facets. Unless anyone has any other thoughts to offer on this particular brand, that is.
