Typically will a 4.6x6.7mm emerald shape stone fit into a 5x7 stock setting for an emerald. Or would it need to be custom made for that size stone. I have no idea how much room to work with you usually have.

Yes it should fit fine unless the stone is extraordinarily deep. In that case, you would want a deeper basket.

I second that; unless the stone has depth issues, it should fit. There is usually a 0.5 mm play for the setting.
