- Find ties for GMs
- Finish DIY veil following 2nd fitting appointment
- Find hair accessory

- Finish designing all wedding stationery, then print

- Plan ceremony and readings
- Write vows
- Get cousin ordained or decide to get married in IL first
- Ask friend to read during ceremony

- Decide on head table arrangement
- Make guestbook album
- Find string lights for dinner terrace
- Order more candles
- Finalize playlist
- Make rehearsal dinner reservations

- Book honeymoon flight/hotels

In California

- 2nd makeup trial
- OOT bags(??)
- (Get marriage license)

Hey newbie! 3 months to go, as of yesterday!

Still to-do:

Make invites (they''re ordered, just waitin on the mail!)
BM/GM gifts
Flowers (mom works at a florist, so I''m not too rushed on this)
Book hotel for the night before for BM''s and I
Finalize playlist
Rent tuxes
Cake-tasting (cake is included in our venue, just need to set up appt for the tasting)
Get dress altered... it basically fits, just need the bust taken in
Wedding bands! Been shopping, but my ER is curved, and platinum, and I can''t seem to find one that matches well. May have to go custom, but not sure that''s in the budget... may have to go plain for now.
Register!! Lol... not registering for much, don''t need much. We''re going tomorrow.
Get shoes for myself, and a hairpiece (I don''t think I''m doing a veil)
Go dress shopping with my mom for her dress
Book HMoon and flights... not leaving till mid-may sometime. FI is taking 2 classes this semester, it''ll just be easier to wait for the HMoon

I have an awesome friend who''s a hairstylist. Her and a co-worker are coming to the hotel that morning and doing our hair and makeup. I''m thinking I may wear my hair down for the ceremony and up for the reception. We have a 1 1/2 hour gap between ceremony and reception.

Seems like so much to do, so little time!!

Hi Lynnie!

We''re actually getting married the day before you :) FI also reminded me that since Feb is only 28 days, we really passed the 3 month mark last Thursday! I can''t believe how fast it''s coming up.

Sounds like we''re in similar boats as far as what''s left to do. Although, as of 1 hr ago, I checked off "Order FI''s wedding band"...YAY!

A few weeks ago I was having mini anxiety attacks about all the stuff that needs to be done b/t now and April. But we (or rather *I*

) have been steadily checking things off since then, so I''m feeling a little better. Still a little nervous, but better... :)

heh. I actually posted something very similar recently with my list of things "yet to do" :) Glad to see I''m not the only one having panic attacks.

T-minus 2 months and 16 days!!!

GOOD LUCK TO US ALL!!

(Don''t you guys just want it to be over already?)

Today we:

Registered!

AND

I found a band! Went to a bunch of jewelers on Jeweler''s row in Philadelphia, nobody had anything that came close. Got a bunch of quotes for a custom job, most were around $1300. Then, the last store we went to had a band that matched the curve really well - not perfect, but pretty much as close as you could get without going custom. It''s WG and has .25 cts baguette diamonds. I''ll post pics on Sunday or Monday (I don''t actually have it yet, it needs to be sized)... and the price was right! WOOT! Only about 50 more checkmarks to go... lol

Newbie, I hear ya on the whole panic attack thing! And I''ll be thinking of ya on my "wedding eve". Hopefully I''ll have everything DONE by then! lol I''ll probably spend a few hours that day at the florist where my mom works, helping out - I used to work there too through college, and I definitely want to make my bouquet and my BM''s.

Cake, good luck to you too!! I just want the PLANNING part over so I can chill out a little!

Thank you so much for posting this! I really thought I was WAY behind! My big day is April 4th and you all seem to be on the same track as me. Here is my to do list, and please feel free to tell me if there is anything I need to jump on ASAP:

-Get my wedding band/ Pick out FI''s wedding band
-Book a honeymoon
-Mail invitations (JUST ordered them Saturday)
-Finalize florist bugdet and details (I have paid a deposit)
-Pick out our ceremony music
-Order a cake (we know what we want and where we want it from)
-Get FI a new suit
-Get wedding dress fitted
-Figure out a hairstyle so I can order a veil/hair accessories
-Order flower girl dresses/ find ring bearer outfits
-Mother of bride/groom dresses
-Have our "officiant" become a notary
-Seating cards

I went to Ross to get some picture frames and happen to find a tie that was the PERFECT color for father to wear... $5.99! YES!

Question: What is a guest book album? Is that when the guest take a polaroid pic of themselves? I would like to purchase one of those but I haven''t found one for a decent price.

I'm closer to the 4 month mark, but here's what I have left...

Top priorities for now:
-dress alterations
-plan and book a honeymoon
-get engagement photos taken (they come with the photography package, so why not?)
-register for gifts

Other stuff:
-finalize ceremony script/readings
-finalize ceremony music playlist and send mp3s to DJ (I'm using very unconventional music), also reception music requests
-compile addresses and start printing invitations (will send them about 2 months before the wedding and ask for RSVPs 1 month out)
-finalize flower choices and meet with florist to talk about ideas
-find a good pair of earrings
-hair/makeup trial
-groom's and groomsmen's attire (leaning toward black suits with matching green ties)
-make programs, table number cards, and favors (which will double as place cards)
-that whole marriage license bit
-buy alcohol (the venue is BYOB)

...and the most egregious: FI still hasn't chosen and notified his 4th groomsman!!! I've been on him for months to do this.

But the biggie stuff is pretty much down...stuff like choosing my DJ, florist, cake baker and cake design, photographer, dress, catering, bridesmaid dresses/gifts, centerpieces/decor, wedding bands (mine and FIs), officiant, lingerie, blocking hotel rooms, etc. The nitty-gritty details are now starting to fall into place, like what color table linens to use, where the bridal party will get ready, when we'll take pictures, etc.

DW in DR April 23rd

To Do:
- alterations to dress
- engrave wedding bands
- engrave FI's wedding gift (watch)
- get bridal accessories (veil, shoes, jewellery etc.)
- get FI's suit
- get ties for FI, FOB, and BM
- approve and order program fans (still waiting for priest to approve our program)
- confirm ceremony music (waiting for our selection list to be approved by priest and organist)
- arrange transportation to and from hotel and church for us, family and guests
- put together travel bags for guests (can't do this until numbers are confirmed March 14th)
- decide on and purchase favours/favour boxes which will also serve as place holders
- ask friends to do ceremony readings
- get gifts for MOH and BM (only one attendant each)
- get gifts for parents
- complete marriage prep class (went this weekend and will be finished after this coming weekend)
- mail documents to priest (waiting for marriage prep certificate)
- figure out a seating plan

In DR:
- confirm reception site at hotel
- confirm menu
- confirm flowers (bouquets, corsages, bouts, centerpieces, church)
- confirm DJ details
- select a photograpy pkg
- schedule RD at a local restaurant

OMG, did I forget anything? I swear I thought I was further along

Okay, my wedding is at the beginning of May, but I feel better that I haven''t fallen completely behind

Make invitations
Send save the dates (I know, I know...)
Get wedding accessories
Finalize honeymoon
Choose groom''s attire
Block off hotel rooms
Figure out song list
Figure out ceremony program
Make Programs
Make menus
Figure out reception program
Figure out hair
Make guestbook
Seating chart
Rehearsal Dinner
Set a rehearsal date
Make wedding favors
Decide on a aisle runner...maybe
Order FI''s band
Decide on cake design

I know there''s more...

Whew, so I''m feeling a lot better now seeing that I seem to be on track w/ a lot of you guys :) I''m going to be one happy camper after I get our invitations printed this weekend. Next big project will be planning the ceremony and thinking about my vows (uff, that''s gonna be tough...especially since I''m a perpetual procrastinator when it comes to writing)

Izzy, for our guestbook album I think I''m just going to create a photo album thru MyPublisher using mostly our engagement photos and some FI and I have taken since we''ve dated.

I had originally wanted to do a Polaroid album (where guests take pics of themselves at the wedding then paste it into a scrapbook w/ a personal note), but now that Polaroid film is no longer sold at retail, it''s more of a pain to plan, so I might just take the lazier route and do the photo album w/ our pictures.

Does that seem pretentious? to have guests sign a book of pictures of ourselves? I''m not really sure what else we could do....Maybe have people sign a bottle of wine? Except that doesn''t leave a lot of space...
