Kristen, please don''t go by these labels on a grading report, it does not guarantee you a well cut diamond. Also you might want to do a search for EGL Israel to read opinions on their accuracy.

I saw a lot of EGL Israel stones, and the best cut that I saw was called "8 hearts & 8 arrows" in teh comments section. The ideal cut and tolkowskies weren''t as nice under my idealscope. My stone is an "8 hearts & 8 arrows" - you can see it in my avatar.

Here''s a pic of the arrows. The stone is a 2.01 ct EGL hearts & arrows G SI1.

Wow, your diamond is absolutely beautiful! I haven''t seen a "8 hears & 8 arrows" on a EGL report so I''m guessing it''s pretty hard to find. I am in love with your diamond!

Thanks Prinkles! My diamond is from Mervis Diamond in the DC area - he has a website too. In addition to GIA & AGS diamonds, he sells a bunch of EGL Hearts & Arrows diamonds that are a great value (it states that in the comments section of the cert). If you bring an Idealscope & know what to look for, you can find a great diamond at a very good price.
