Being from Chicago I should be happy, and its not as if I am upset..... Sometimes its just hard being a cubs fan. We spend too much money on season tix and it just never pays off. Hmmmppphhh! Anyway, the white sox deserve it they had a great year and if they end up playing St. Louis, I say go white sox go!

and hopefully you will be playing the HOUSTON ASTROS!! Keeping our fingers crossed for tonights game in H-TOWN!!!

Go Sox!!!

I''m not even a baseball fan, but I''ve just been brainwashed by my family that really the Cubs are the only ones in the city that matter...however, it is fun seeing everyone so excited, and if anyone is going to win, Chicago should

It is true that the cubs are the only one in the city that matter. But at least ''the cell'' will finally sell out. It is terribly hard to get excited, especially when your on Michigan Ave and see more cubs gear than Sox, no one really seems to care. But i suppose it is good for the city.

I have nightmares about the Cubs being up three games and LOSING!!!!

Maybe the Cards can do the same? Stranger things have happened. ALOU!!!!

AAAAUUUUGH! Starset Princess -- Get that picture of Bartman out of here!!!!!!!!

I really don't care that half the city (or more for that matter) doesn't care about the White Sox. We'll just keep them all to ourselves.

Gotta love Pujols...

Pebbles - I heard Bartman has 3rd base seats for Game 1

I tried so hard to get tickets today.
No luck!

Well, at least someone got through for tickets!

Tickets started at $125 for really stinky seats. I tried to get them anyway....

I find it funny that so many of my friends who were Cubs fans have suddenly gone to the other side and are now Sox fans
20.gif
I just hope that they are doing it for the sake of the city - meaning that they have switched allegiance because either way, Cubs or Sox, they are cheering on the city of Chicago. Personally, I''ve always been a Sox fan, can''t stand the Cubs. But if it were the Cubs going into the world series (hahahaha), I guess I would root for them because they represent Chicago, a city I am so proud to be from!

I know, so many people have jumped on the bandwagon. There are always fair-weather fans, and those that just cheer on their city...I was sick so I wasn''t with my bf and he was up in Wrigleyville and he said every place he went into was Sox all over the place. I just thought that was disrespectful
3.gif
and you could tell that those were all the people who were switching just because.

I think tickets sold out in 18 minutes today? Yesterday they were up to $10k on Stubhub. I guess now they don''t have to give out free tickets at fast food restaurants

HAHA. The silence in that stadium was deafening.

My bf is a die hard Sox fan, I''m a Cubs fan so I was trying to get tix for him. He did end up getting some which is great. He said that Sox fans would NEVER cheer for the Cubs if they made it to the World Sieres. I think that''s silly. We are all from Chicago we should want a Chicago to win. But yes there''s been a lot of talk of Cubs fans jumping the bandwagon.

This Bi-Sox-ual tshirt has been getting a lot of attention!

I only care about baseball at times like this--when StL is going at it with the Astros--bec it''s fun to go back and forth with the clients.

seen this one?
it's 'supposedly' a real church in Houston

CA2ZQ3UP1.jpg

Yup I got that today. My client loved it.

I also sent this to him and got the opposite back!

A Cardinal fan used to amuse himself by scaring every Astros fan he
saw strutting down the street in their obnoxious Astros shirts. He
would swerve his van as if to hit them, and then swerve back just
missing them. One day, while driving along, he saw a priest. He
thought he would do a good deed, so he pulled over and asked the
priest "Where are you going Father?"
>
"I''m going to give mass at St. Francis Church, about
2 miles down the road," replied the priest.
>
"Climb in Father! I''ll give you a lift!" said the man.
>
The priest climbed into the rear passenger seat, and they continued
down the road. Suddenly, the driver saw an Astros fan walking down the
road, and he instinctively swerved as if to hit him. But, as usual, he
swerved back into the road just in time. Even though he was certain
that he had missed he guy, he still heard a loud "THUD."
>
Not understanding where the noise came from, he glanced back in his
mirrors but still didn''t see anything. He then remembered the priest,
and he turned to the priest and said "Sorry Father, I almost hit that
Astros fan."
>
"That''s okay," replied the priest, "I got him with the door."
>
GO CARDS
