I just heard a cute proposal story. The man had a ceramic plate made up with the words, "Will You Marry Me" on it. He took his girlfriend to dinner at a local steakhouse. The guy had arranged it with the management that his girlfriend's dinner would be served on that plate.

Of course, she couldn't see the writing on the plate when her dinner was served, but as she was completing her meal, she saw the proposal message on her plate. As she became aware of what had been there all along, the guy got down on one knee beside her with a ring.

I don't know what would have happened if she hadn't cleared her plate. Maybe they would have washed it and brought it back with a very, very small dessert on it!
