It isn't just Donald Trump, it is all the Republicans who are blocking legislation to protect the United States from Russia whom we must fear. Mitch McConnell is blocking sanctions against Russia (and individual Russian oligarchs and their companies) while raking in Russian money for his home state of Kentucky. I don't think Calling him "Moscow Mitch" is funny. I think it makes light of a dire situation. By allowing a Russian company, one that should be sanctioned, into Kentucky the US is allowing Russian into the United States to interfere in future elections.

This organization, Mad Dog PAC, is a non-violent one that, among other things, puts up billboards like this one. They also sell neat T-shirts; caps; and bumper stickers. I was intrigued by their real life billboard and so I visited their website. It lifted my spirits. It showed that some people in America were paying attention to what was happening.

OK, so I don't like the sobriquet "Moscow Mitch". Nonetheless, I like this billboard.

I think Moscow Mitch is brilliant way of turning Trump's rhetorical style against him. I don't see it as making light of a bad situation so much as couching it in terms that even Trumpsters can understand.
