Fluff warning: are you going to watch the new bachelor?

My friend and I watch for brainless Monday dinners but this guy looks incredibly boring. I think we will find something on Netflix instead.

Any particular reason why I should? Like-- more of the same or expected to be a particularly dramatic season?

I usually watch at the final four point to watch the guy make the mistake of choosing....

No need. Better things to talk about and to do with a friend than to watch the insecure, egotistical Bachelor person.

Yeah I used to enjoy this show but in past years it has been boring. And even when the show was at its “best” (and I use the term loosely) I used to wait till nearer the end because all of the bachelors/bachelorettes seemed the same to me. Almost indistinguishable. So for the sake of being able to tell them apart I waited till there were fewer of them. If that makes sense. Lol. So probably won’t bother this year. It was an entertaining concept that imo has run its course. Move over for better programming. And hopefully there will be some entertaining programming.

Have you watched Offspring yet? Love it.

And I also recommend Godless. Very good. Limited 7 episodes but worth it. Though a bit violent at times.

I watched some parodies on SNL awhile back, but I don't think I've ever actually watched the show itself. My cousin's wife named her daughter after one of the bachelorettes, though. Guess she was pretty into it.

I started watching when the show first came into existence because I’m a romantic at heart and like many of us I love love. But yeah the show wasn’t what I hoped it would be and turned into sort of a circus within a short time. However I still watched hoping it would become the idealistic version I was hoping it would be. I think most of us want everyone to find happiness and love and a show all about finding your soulmate/true love is appealing but that show never materialized. Though it can be at times entertaining it is much of the time just disappointing and sad. But there were some happy lovely moments and perhaps for those few and far between moments I stayed watching. Till I couldn’t anymore. Oh well.


Luv2sparkle I agree. It turned into a demeaning show to both men and women.


As an aside did anyone ever watch the original “Love Connection “?
