flourescence in a diamond

This might be a stupid question to ask but i''m just wondering wether or not if you can tell a diamond has flourescence if it sparkles and you can see the blueish sparkle on it? Thanx.

Fluorescence is visible under a black light. Also, in bright, direct sunlight, the stone may have a bluish hue if it has medium or higher fluorescence.
