I have a question on how AGS rates their flourecence. What is the progression from good to bad? I''ve seen ratings of none, negligible, and inert. Are these three the same?

Thank you.

AGS = negligible, medium, strong, very strong
GIA = none, faint, medium, strong, very strong
EGLUSA = none, faint, medium, strong, very strong
EGL Israel = none, very slight, slight, moderate, distinct, very distinct
HRD = nil, slight, medium, strong
IGI = none, very slight, slight, distinct, very strong

The term "Inert" is the old AGS designation which has been replaced by Negligible, the latter of which now would include both no visible fluor. and a very faint to faint fluor.

Many times the color of the fluorescence is not mentioned on certs...in >90% of cases it will be blue, but can be of other colors like green, yellow, etc.
