Florescence or no florescence??

I have a dilemma that maybe someone can help me solve. I've found two diamonds that I like and I'm having trouble determining which one to buy. They’re almost alike however one has a medium blue florescence whereas the other doesn't have any. Everything else is the same with exception to the florescent diamond scoring an “H” colour instead of the other which is an “I” colour. But the H colour might just be because of the blue florescence’s making it seem whiter? One other minor difference is the florescence diamond scored 0.9 HCA and the other scored 1.1 HCA.

Which one should I choose? GIA reports are below.

I would go with the H...I have an H with medium blue flouresence and I wouldn't know the different my stone looks white white to me and even as an si! I can see through the stone clear as day. My HO is stick with the H.

I would prefer H with medium fluorescence, however, I like the measurements of the other stone slightly more because I prefer 34 minimum on the crown angle (although this is a minor difference). One HCA score is not better than the other. Anything lower than 2.0 is equally worth considering. I still think I'd choose the H with fluorescence. It would likely appear whiter than the other stone in some lighting.

This is great feedback, thank you.

Do you think the medium blue florescence would impact the diamonds appraisal negatively? Or is it non-material?

I don't bother with appraisals assuming I am buying from a reliable vendor and have compared prices myself. I insure with a detailed sales receipt and lab grading report. But even if you do, you want the appraisal to equal what you paid (or just slightly more) so you don't overpay insurance premiums. I'd tell them prior to writing a report what I paid and that I absolutely do not want an inflated insurance value.

You should be paying a price that reflects fluorescence, so your appraised value should reflect it as well.
