fish eye?

I recently got a new diamond for my e-ring because I managed to chip my first one in 6 months. Anyways, since the other one chipped I have become very worried that there is something wrong with my new diamond. I am not sure if what I am seeing is a fish eye/nail head or is normal. If I tilt my ring about 90 degrees there is a small dark circle in the center (well near the center.)

It has GIA papers that say it is an excellent cut..could it still have a fish eye/nail head?

you should only be worried if you can see it straight on or with slight tilt. if you can only see it at 90 degrees, it is fine.

You wouldn''t be seeing either a nail head or fish eye from 90 deg (i.e., looking at the side of the stone), but you might be seeing girdle reflections, which usually appear as lines/broken lines horizontal to the table at different depths.
