Hi all,

I am brand new to diamond buying, and am looking to buy a diamond to propose to my girlfriend with. Any knowledge I have came from reading the resources on this site, but I was hoping to get a second opinion on this diamond that I found before purchasing. Keep in mind, my budget is around $3000, so if you think I could get a better diamond in my price range, let me know!

Attached is the report.

Thank you so much!!!

Sorry, here's a right side up view!

Its an AGS 0 but not a top cut AGS 0. But for the price, an I IF, its not too bad if it is under 3000.

I would say what you found is a good deal. It's an AGS0, like said above. That said, it's not perfect..

To answer your question, it is all going to depend on what you mean as a "better" diamond. You may not find a better diamond for the money as far as clarity goes, but I think you can find one with better light performance. Your gal may love that she wears a stone that is IF, or, she may just want it to outshine every other diamond she puts it beside.

Below are some stones in your price range that are a tiny bit smaller, but that I believe will sparkle more than the one you posted.
