I'm looking for a loose stone for an engagement ring. I already have the ring (18k white gold), but now I need a stone. I'd like something around a round cut VS2/S1, I/J color, 0.75 to 0.85 carat, and excellent/ideal cut. More generally, I want it eye clean, not noticeably yellow, biggish for me ~6mm, and as sparkly as possible. I've been searching online for about 2 weeks, and I've narrowed it down to three stones. Can you guys give me some input or advice?
1) 0.77 IGI
$1,612
Ideal cut
J color
SI2
Flour: none

(This is a gemesis stone. It makes no difference to me, but I hope it's okay I included it in this forum.)
2) 0.80 GIA
$2,116
Excellent cut
I color
SI2
Flour: medium blue

3) 0.80 GIA
$2,079
Ideal cut
J color
SI1
Flour: medium

Gem 1 is cheaper but has an IGI rating, so I've been told the gradings could be overestimated. Gem 2 is at the upper end of my budget ($2,200), but the color is very good (I've been told medium fluorescence whitens the stone). Gem 3 also has some fluorescence, which should bump up the color grading. I'd really appreciate any help!
