Is price good for such a diamond ? I will have it mounted in a Platinum Tiffany Knife edge solitaire setting.

I realise that these diamonds might seem small (er) than some others on the site, but my gf is a tiny Japanese girl with only size 3 finger ! and anything bigger looked too big

Thanks !

Adam

They are all great stones. Loving 1 and 3 and then 2, but heck they are all great..

Hi Adam, welcome to PS.

I will link the information pages for these stones to make it easier for others to weigh in.

The numbers on all three are good and the IS images for the two that have them also look good. You can request an IS for the second diamond if you wish. James Allen is very competitive on pricing, so no worries on that front. Of the two AGS stones, I would probably pick #3, just for the savings, as the difference in performance is negligible.

A half carat is a great size and should look great on a size 3 finger. There are many PSers that have beautiful rings in that size range--just check out all the eye candy in the "Under 1ct" thread in Show Me The Ring.

looks good.

Jet2ks, best not to link to the actual page of the stone next time unless the OP do so first as the OP might want to keep the source a secret.

I don't want to give an opinion without all the information which includes the numbers, Callabero if next time you could post the details - depth, table and angles etc if you don't want to post the links, then we can give some opinions.

They all look good, apparently as of this week James Allen will be providing hearts images for their hearts and arrows cuts,

so you could request hearts images for the h&a diamonds.

Also that diamond size should look great on your GF's finger!

Me too, I do not want to judge without the numbers, but you can just post the report check link instead, right?

Or change the report type for the link.

For future reference, for JA links, grading report, if available,
type=2 is the loupe image,
type=3 is the IS image,
type=4 is the report image.

For example

I would not link the actual pages IF the information wasn''t right there to begin with. The OP had the James Allen URL clearly shown in the links and the links have the stock # plainly displayed. Anyone with enough internet experience to find PS could find those stones.

There have been cases where someone has just listed numbers for a stone and I''ve had to look it up. In those cases, I don''t link the pages.

caballero, if you are interested in any of these, it would be best to ask James Allen to place them on hold so they don''t get snatched by a lurker--they will hold for 24hours. If your intent in the links was to try and disguise the source for these diamonds, I apologize.
