Hi Burton,

The first stone is way too deep. It will face up (look) a lot smaller than it should. You want to get the most out of this purchase! It''s table is a little on the large side too.

The second one is better, though still facing up a bit smaller. What concerns me more is the girdle, Very Thin is not so good, possibly. More risk of chipping.

Thank you Ellen for your answer. I found on for the same price is this a little bit better? Price 1445$

Or do you think i should go with something different. On diamond.com i dont like the settings so much they seems to thick in the pictures and i like the Avlon setting from DeJoria. What should i do i am open for new ideas

Stone seems a little overpriced. I would expect id/id, ex/ex at that level.

Couldn't find the Avlon, post a link?

EBree,
I think Burton is trying to find a stone that is local to him (Europe) to avoid the hefty import custom taxes.

EBree,

Oops! Sorry about that.

Burton, that last stone you posted could be very nice! Nothing glaringly wrong, although again, facing up a tad small. As for the price, I don''t think it''s that bad compared to similar stones I found in searching.

I''d say it''s worth having a look.
