I just wanted to let you know that I received my ultrasonic in the mail today (yay!) and tried out the silver solution with the dip tray and I wasn''t all that impressed. I tried it on a very tarnished necklace (it hasn''t been cleaned in at least 8 years...) and while it did help a little, the tarnish cloth that was included with the US did a much better job.

Thanks for letting me know!!! I was psyched when I saw the new models had the capacity to clean tarnished silver, because DH has an ID bracelet I got him that is badly tarnished. I tried polish, tried some tin foil chemical reaction trick...nothing really worked, so I was hopeful for the SI US. Thanks for letting me know how it worked for you.
