Hi all! I've been lurking, and finding out lots of useful info. Thanks! Looking at sets that have 3 or more side stones on either side of the center stone, and a proportionately equal amount of stones in the wedding band. Its basically the half eternity ring setting look, but I like larger pointers than the 3 or 4 point stones. I am resetting my pear stone of about 1.2 ct and have a ring size of 8.76 which isn't snug but not falling off either. ) I don't like very snug). I saw a very reasonable set on adamair and one for a little more on BN. The first has three side stones on either side of about 10 pointers, and the other of 5. I looked at my ring next to a seven pointer eternity band and liked the 7 point size. Not sure if 5 or 10 would be good too. Since my fingers are big I might like 10, but in any case I am wondering if three stones on either the 5 or 10 will cover the whole top of my finger, finger to finger? Is there any way to know without buying it? Yoni also has a 6 pointer version with 4 stones on either side which I think would be more likely to cover finger to finger to look like an eternity band form the top, but I wasn't sure if 4 or more side stones at that point amount would be likely to be annoying. I have a cz whole eternity band of 3 ct that I can't wear a whole day because it bothers me but I'm not sure if it is the way it is set. It is baguettes. Any insights here in how these types of rings lay in larger fingers like mine?
Also I think I might like 10 pointers because I like big but don't want to trade in my diamond because it is sentimental, however most posters seem to feel 10 point is too large with a 1 ct ring. The adamair site does show their 10 point 6 stone setting ( 3 each side) with a. 1 ct round stone. Any thoughts?
Thanks!!!!'
