Well well!

Tomorrow we're having a garage sale and a neighbor just had her assistant bring these two pieces of "art" over for me to sell for her.

Do you have price suggestions?

BTW, she's blind.

Me too!!!

She is the sweetest old lady whom I''m afraid will not be with us long.

I don''t have the heart to return them to her unsold.

Gosh...those are really just priceless.

I would give her $40 and say they sold for $20 each. Yes it''s a lie but in this case think it''s ok.

Well, I dunno...if you ''market'' the pirate ship painting as a "Pirates of the Caribbean" piece, you may have some luck. Perhaps you could pencil into Johnny Depp somewhere in the ship?

I''d pay $2 for the frame on the left.

Maybe $5 if somebody else was going to take it - I''m not above outbidding them. Ebay has taught me well.

(I was secretly hoping they''d be from an important listed artist and I''d buy them.)

My hopes have been dashed.
Actually I''m going to take that Elvis poster apart and look for a signature.
You never know.

I agree! I would put them out at the sale but even if no one bought them I''d still give her money.

not my taste but someone likes this kind of thing and i''m betting the elvis would go for more than $20. not in your group but somewhere in LaLa Land there is a buyer for it. there are people that collect this stuff. no better and not worse than collecting gems, imo.

Is the Elvis on velvet? Because that makes a difference.

GASP!

hmmmmm.... $10 for the awful one on the left and $15 for Elvis...

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

You never know who would want those prints, esp in LA!

Hell, we just bought a $75 Shepard Fairey Neil Young print. But, we don''t plan on keeping it

Um...guys? I''m NOT sure that''s Elvis....

I've been looking at these all day.
GAUD! they are hideous.

well the elvis one I would never want in a million years but SOMEone out there... it''s an ebay piece.

I might pay $10 or $15 for the boats... I kinda like it but now I have to redecorate the basement accordingly lol

awesome - I hate the frame... I''ll pay $10 if you pitch in $5 and you can have the frame :)

Any luck moving these?

Buy them both yourself and give them out as white elephant gifts this xmas, it will be a hoot!

NO!

But as Scarlet O'Hara says, "Tomorrow's another day."
