I am new to this game and would like to start off by thanking everyone on this forum for providing everyone with such a wealth of information. I just recently began the process off looking for rings, first in stores then researching online to find out why some diamonds ''sparkle'' and others don''t. That''s when I stumbled onto this site and its forum. I think I know what I''m looking for in a diamond now, at least the general characteristics.
I am looking for a diamond that fluoresces blue in the sunlight, I''ve read that not all diamonds with fluorescence even very strong fluorescence will do this though. Another concern of mine is in buying an overblue diamond though this shouldn''t be too big of a problem since I can always just return it, though that would mean eating the shipping charge. Yet another concern of mine is with the GIA/JKD case, I''m am looking for a D color diamond and eye clean (VS1 or higher) diamond, should I be concerned with exaggerated grading? Sorry all, this is my first diamond purchase and I just want everything to be perfect!
Anyways, the purpose of my post was to ask anyone who has a diamond that fluoresces in the sunlight if they can post their particular diamond''s stats (color, clarity, cut, polish, symmetry, fluorescence rating, etc. anything!) and maybe a picture if possible. Thanks in advance!
