I am a newbie poster who can no longer resist joining the forum. I discovered PS more than two years ago when I decided that I wanted a diamond solitaire as a RHR for my 40th birthday. In Scandinavia engagement rings are usually plain gold bands so a solitaire is not perceived as being "engagy" in style. At the time I decided to buy nationally from a vendor with a good return policy and have the ring set by a local jeweller. I did do a lot of reading on PS and tried to do as best I could buying blindly on numbers only. At the time it was my best option (today I might have chosen another path, but that would in that case be after two years reading PS and with a somewhat better budget). Anyway, here it goes:

Crown angle:35
Pavilion angle:40.6
Depth:61.4%
Clarity characteristics: cloud, pinpoint fluorescence: none
Today, I know that I am very happy with my ring, but it could be interesting to hear your expert opinions on my purchase. Do you think I got my homework done properly? ASET etc is very unknown here, so not possible to get.
