I have been lurking in this group for a while and I have been searching for an oval diamond for an engagement ring in the last two months. In the past couple of days I have been working with Judi Wolf at Whiteflash and I have decided on the following oval stone and will be finalizing the purchase on Friday. I told her that I have concern about the bowtie effect but she told me the bowtie effect is minimal. The only other thing is the girdle is not faceted but after searching for two months and I have come to the conclusion that within price range of under $4500 this stone appear to meet my criteria other than the fact that the girdle is not faceted. So what do you guys think of this stone?
