It's center stone GIA G color SI2 2.03ct. Anyone want to guess how much it is? :twirl:

It's lovely!! Who made the setting? Congrats on your gorgeous new ring!

I bought from wonder jewelry found from eBay.

Really beautiful!

Congratulations!! I am not usually a fan of ovals, but your ring has completely changed my mind!
It looks stunning and elegant on your slim finger, and looks much bigger than a 2.03ct!

:appl:

I see you gave us a teaser of the profile view. Do you have any more pics from the side?

Thank you. My size is 4.25. I'll take more pictures later.

So beautiful. I want an oval halo ring now!

Love ovals!! Great finger coverage and presence. It's very beautiful. Please post some more pics when you can. You bought it on ebay? whhoooo - I'd be scared for an expensive thing, but it looks like it totally worked out!

Not quite busy today so I come to share my experence on buying on eay.
At first I was against on buying expensive stuff online, but after looking at so many post here, I decided to buy from bluenile. After I called bluenile, they helped me to hold a diamond and was going to give me an quote the next day. I got their quote the in a couple of days later and they said I can not do return or exchange because my size is 4.5 and it is custome made! Which is unacceptable to me. So I gave up on bluenile.
One day I was searching on ebay and found a seller carrying my favourite setting, so I contacted them. They talked to me very detail and I feel comfortable when they said it is 14 day free return. They have so many diamonds to choose from and I think 10% cheaper than bluenile.
In the beginning I was not sure how different is EGL and GIA so I choose a EGL G color which turned out to be too yellow. I will put some pictures later. Also at first I think I want a double halo. A round 1 week later I got my ring. Because I really don't like the yellow tint, I contacted them to exchange. At the same time I changed my mind to a single halo. Double halo seems too much for me.
Then I chose GIA G color and single halo which turned out to be perfect! I felt guity for wasting a beautiful setting.
Another thing, the first EGL stone is cut deeper than my GIA, but EGL has bow tie but GIA doesn't. This GIA stone is really shallow which is only 45%, but it is much brillant than the deeper ones. Anybody can tell me why?
Thanks.

This is the first ring I ordered. It is EGL G color with double halo.

Very pretty.

ah, sorry for asking, but I wanted to get more information on how you went about purchasing your diamond. It seems like you're very happy with the price you paid for the diamond. I don't want to be rude and ask over the forum, that's why I wanted your email address. Can you give me some pointers on how to go about buying a diamond online. I'm very familiar with Jamesallen, GOG, and Whiteflash, but I'm not too comfortable with Ebay. I've found some diamond on Ebay but they're IGS graded. I've also found enhanced diamonds that I'm interested in.

Hi Alvin,
It is hard to purchase diamond through ebay. It was my first time to do it. I am happy in the end but at the beginning it was not smooth. The first time I chose an EGL G color, which turned out to be way too yellow. I believe it is around GIA J color. Especially it is not a round diamond, so the color is pretty easy to see. Then I asked them to replace the center stone for an EGL F color. I am ok with the color this time but the stone is not perfectly fit the original setting. I don't like there is an airline between the center stone and halo. So I sent back again and this time I made up my mind to choose a GIA stone and changed the double halo setting into a single halo. I got what I paid for. I paid extra $4,000 to get a GIA G color 2.03 ct instead of EGL F color 1.7 ct.
It took me around 6 weeks for the whole process. For me, I won't buy anything without GIA cert unless I can see it in person. Also before I chose the GIA stone I asked the seller to send me its picture in case I need to return again.

Sandy,
Thank you so much for answering my question. Overall, it seemed like it took a little bit of effort, but it was worth it. I'm finding that some diamonds on Ebay are very competitive vs. the popular sites. Thanks again.

What a pretty ring Sandy! Please post more pics when you get a chance. It sounds like the seller really worked well with you and wanted to make sure you were happy. I think that's critical with a purchase like this (along with a good return policy :)) ).

:appl: Congratulations!! :appl:
