It''s funny, since I found this site, I''m absolutely determined to educate myself. Neither me, nor my FI had ANY idea about how much impact certain factors actually make on the diamond. I almost had the philosophy, (and still do) that all diamonds are shiny and sparkly no matter what. Well, I finally just plugged in the numbers...I was nervous to before, in case it came out bad...I didn''t want him to feel that he got ripped off, no matter how much I love my stone. But I plugged away anyway, and it turned out that the cut is 1A....pretty lucky coming from a couple of people that were sooooo incredibly naive.
