I''m not one of those clean-freak germ-paranoid people but this seems like a great idea.

That''s really cool! I would like it more for spills. How nice to have one less thing to worry about.

That is pretty cool. I think it is funny that they made it white so all those people that are scared of dirt and germs can see any speck of dirt on it.

Hehe, my friend has had one of those for awhile now I think.

I think he got his off of thinkgeek.com. If you like nerdy things, it's a fun site to check out. They also sell a portable keyboard you can roll up that's moisture and dust proof. There's a photo of a baby teething on it...

Grrrrr... It''s not Mac compatible. My keyboard looks disgusting no matter how much I clean it with wipes and Q-tips.

My local morning radio show DID say that computer keyboards had more germs than the average toilet......

Then again, they said the average person cleans their fridge once per year.

This led me to believe something is wrong with their average listener.

Yep. Last year during the science fair at my sons'' school, a child did a test to see which had the most bacteria - toilet, kitchen sink, keyboard, and something else (I forget what) and guess which one? The keyboard! Yuck. Now I keep a bottle of windex by mine and spray it every few days.

While we are on this subject . . .

Have everyone wash their hands immediately when they come home before touching anything.

This will cut down of germs and especially cold and flu viruses that we carry into the house from everywhere we visit.

In this day of H1N1 I think this is worth the hassle.

Sometimes I use anti-bacterial stuff on my hands after going into the grocery store. It''s kind of funny though that a couple friends of mine who constantly use that stuff AND obsessively wash their hands, still have sick kids. In fact, all the classrooms at my kids'' school have the kids use anti-bacterial pump cleaner after recess, yet *twice* now, since the beginning of the year, we''ve gotten a phone call from the school (sent out to all the parents) that over 10% of the children have had to stay home due to illness. (aka we''re all doomed. . .the school actually calls to inform us of this.)
