Final Ritani price check help please!

OK, I have posted once before about a 1.02 H VS2 from BBB. Retail is 11,100. I have been checking and people claim that Ritani cannot be discounted much. I have been offered $10,100. I know there is more room, but how much? Some out of town places have been cheaper but it is not a Ritani diamond. I really like the salesman and since I am in sales, I wish to buy from him. Please let me know how much more room I have. Thanks in advance!

It is the round halo ring.

I have heard that it is hard for jewelers to discount designer rings a lot because the designers have set prices so their rings are sold for about the same price no matter who the vendor. Pearlmans sell the ring you''re looking at for $8000 with a .70 center stone so it sounds like the price your guy is discounting is decent. If you like the place and the sales guy there is nothing wrong with paying a bit more for the local convenience of have a jeweler close by.
