Final Candidates! Help me pick a winner Prz =)

I think I have narrowed my selection down to what I think are a few quality picks.

This may sound tacky, but I want to make sure if my fiance holds her ring beside another ring, that hers is equally impressive - if not moreso. This made me wonder if I should go for a F color instead of the G or H I was planning. Basically, I would hate for her to ever think she had a lower quality stone. So, I'm leaning toward F. But, I don't have any way to hold an F ideal beside an H ideal. Do you think I'd see a difference?

Based on everyone's input here, I'm trying to be ultra-strict on gettin a superior cut. On diamonds in a B&M, I could tell a big difference in color (but these were poorly cut I believe). How much color can a good cut overcome? Here are my picks, all in the rough price range:

Get IS images for the JA in house stones (whichever one they won''t charge you.)

I would go down to H in color and get a bigger stone. My three stone ring has an ideal cut F center stone and I have ideal cut H diamond stud earrings that are the same size and I can''t tell ANY difference between them.

As far as color goes, I agree with Sundial. Sure, smack-dab next to each other I maybe saw a little more "warmth" in an H versus an F -- but my stone is an H and it looks quite white to me. As I said in an earlier thread, I determined that H was my lower limit (saw a bit of yellow in I''s) -- but your lower limit may be different. Some people are very color sensitive.

Ask JA about the eye-cleaness of the in-house stones, and then get IS images for the remaining candidates.

For the diamond without a pic, presumably it is a "virtual stone". JA could call it in (takes 1-2 days) and run all the necessary tests for you if you want them to do that. I *think* I was told that these tests (IS, magnified pic, etc.) would be $25, but that fee would be waived if a purchase was made (since I purchased from them, I paid no fee so I may not be remembering all of the details exactly). Just call them up and ask (or email -- Jennifer was very prompt in returning my email messages).
