so on Sunday night, BF cracked my rib! we were in bed watching tv - he was sitting indian style and i was sort of laying on him with my head on his lap. he went to prop me up, and pulled me right under my ribcage. that was when i heard and felt a pop/crack.
he was so distraught and wanted to take me to the emergency room, but i have cracked a rib before (so not pleasant) and all the doctor did was prescribe me painkillers. luckily, i had a lot of leftover Vicodin from my previous ankle injury so i decided that it wasn''t necessary to go. also, making a 2nd trip to the emergency room this year alone can''t be good for my track record.
then on Monday night, i came down with a sore throat and fever. i stopped taking the Vicodin to take cold medicine instead, and accidentally slept on the side with the cracked rib. i woke up in a lot of pain and my cold had gotten worse. it progressed from sore throat and fever, to stuffy & runny nose, body aches and now coughing which doesn''t help with my rib.
so i''m out of work for a couple of days, which isn''t good since i was previously out for a week with my ankle, and i''m pretty sure i''m going to be unemployed soon since my bar might be going out of business after Super Bowl. to top it off, my nose is unbelievably raw and i found a gray hair this morning.
