Hello,

I am looking for a stone and I came across this one. I would like to get some feedback from the experts here.

round cut 1.44 ct
cut: x
polish: x
sym: v. good

depth: 60.7%
table: 59%
crown:35%
pavilion: 41%

Would this be considered shallow cut? Will it have a leakage? HCA tool score was 2.7 and I am wondering if there is anything that I should be aware of before making the purchase.
I will make the final decision after look at the stone but I am not sure if I will be able to figure out much especially not comparing side by side with other stones.

Thank you in advance!!! :?:

HCA is a rejection too.
Reject diamonds with scores over 2.0 and then get an Idealscope pic for those scoring under 2.0.

There may be a few diamonds with scores over 2 that some sophisticated cut experts like John Pollard and Paul Slegers or Jonathan Weingarten or Garry Holloway may understand to be okay since they are so expert in how the 4 numbers interact, but for the general public I'd draw the HCA line at 2.

Compare Idealscope image to this chart:

Thank you so much!!!
