Feedback On These Two Brian Gavin Signature RB

Hi guys, looking for input between these two BGD Signature RB:

1.052 I VS2 Hearts and Arrows Round - HCA 1.4


1.092 J VS2 Hearts and Arrows Round - HAC 1.7


As average joe these two diamonds appears exceptional to me but wondering if its worth the extra $500 difference in choosing the I over the J.

I also plan to place it on the BGD Signature Sara Setting which I thought looks nice and shows a lil' attitude OR should I play it safe and choose the BGD solitaire Tiffany or Elegance to open the idea of upgrading the setting together?

The big day is this coming March

Personally, I think it's worth the premium for the I.

Here's another thought - have you considered the Blue line?

For the same price as the J-colored stone, you could go with this stone:

1.004ct, I, VS2

The fluor will also help with the face-up 'whiteness' of the stone.

I personally own a stone from the Blue line and will tell you that it is exceptional.

I think either diamond is a winner....I have an AGSL Ideal I color and love it, but I also think a J compared to an I when in a setting may be hard to tell a difference.

If it were me buying,I would pick up the phone and call Brian, ask him to pull both stones and while on the phone ask him about each stone, what he thinks of the color difference...he is a great guy to talk to and will give you his honest thoughts about each stone.

Also, the setting (Sara) you are looking at is the exact setting I have, it is very nice.

I ended having a discussion with Denise and we through the diamonds mentioned above and the BGD Blues as well. I ended up deciding on: Brian Gavin Signature 1.11800 J VS2 Hearts and Arrows Round (HCA 1.5) on Platnium Sara setting.

Overall experiance was great as response from Denise was very quick and was able to build an e-ring under budget but fit all my requirements. Can't wait for it to arrive
