Feedback on potential ring please

After our last trip to the jewelry store, my girlfriend decided that an H is too yellow for her, even though I couldn't tell the difference. So now we're looking for stones in the G/F range. Since she is color sensitive, and our stone will be mounted on a platinum band, will she be able to tell between a G or F when mounted?

I began to search the BN inventory, since she loves their Pave setting, and ended up with these two rocks:

my top choice as its a good balance between value, our criteria, size, and color, in my opinion. Also, if I remember correctly, this scored a 0.8 on HCA, so the cut should be great as well.

In budget, sounds like a winner, but a tad smaller. again 1.3 on hca, everything except for spread was excellent.

I've confirmed with BN that all of these stones are eye clean and the fluorescence has no effect on the clarity.

I'd love it if you guys could help me narrow down my choices, or at least maybe give a novice any information regarding this purchase.

One last question; The Pave setting has 14 I color stones flanking the center stone. Since we're looking for either F or G for the main stone, will the I color stones have a negative effect on the overall look and feel of the ring? or do they just go unnoticed?

Thanks so much guys for everything, and I really hope I can order this rock and move on to the next step, designing and actually proposing.... :shock:

Third one has the best numbers.

ETA: #2 has 3.3 HCA.

Yeah I really wish BN had some pictures too, that would make all of this a lot easier. How was the first one out of my list? Seemed like it was better than the 3rd one, at least to me.
 
Quite shallow crown angle on #1, it might be darkish. My first alternative suggestion is a safer choice, and it is only $100 more.

Oh I see. I didn't notice it the first time, your's is bigger too!

Anyways, great your suggestion is perfect. Now, I notice that there's usually a huge price difference between and f and a g. Can a normal person usually tell the difference. My girlfriend kind of bought into what the jeweler was saying, how D-F was considered colorless and G/H usually is yellow... She's a lot more gullible than me.

Also, how will the I color stones on the setting affect the look of the overall ring and the center stone?
 
Most people can't tell the difference between D and G, much less F and G. H is not "yellow." H or I is where one starts seeing tint face-up compared to a colorless.

Can you link the setting?
 
Were you looking at GIA graded stones in the store? This could really impact your gf's perception of an H diamond.

Best to go to Tiffany to check out the colors.

We were at a mom and pop jewelry store and the pop there said all of the stones we were looking at were GIA certified. We were looking at them face down and unset so thats probably why she noticed the difference.
