Feedback on Lab Diamond for Engagement Ring

Hello again! The diamond had arrived with my jeweler but they've flagged this defect and asked if I'd like a different stone, what do you think?

Might be one of the inclusions a shown on the plot for the underside...easily covered with a prong of the setting.
Was the laser inscription verified to match the grading report, and maybe the tiny crystal inclusion, as well?
I wouldn't call it a defect, per se.
Does your jeweler have an ASET scope so that you can assess the light return and overall cut quality?

I wouldn't be concerned unless you can see it with the naked eye. What do you think of its performance?

Thanks guys, I'll ask for an ASET scope image and for the engraving to be verified. I take it you don't think there is any risk of this being a weakness or causing the stone to shatter?

Not at a VS2 or even SI1

What a palaver!

My jeweller requested an ASET of the 2.02, was given the run around by the suppler for a few weeks, then it was Diwali, then another few weeks run around. Finally the supplier admitted they has already sold the stone and just didn’t want to say! months wasted!

The good news, is the 2.16 @Kim N liked best back on September 13th mysteriously became available again so I have ordered that one! All’s well that ends well.
