As a follow up to my last thread regarding the HCA test, I expanded my search for another stone and landed on this one:

RB
1.3 carat
Si2
G
x/x/x
No Fl
depth: 60.5%
table: 58%
crown angle: 33.5
Pav angle: 40.8
cutlet none

The Hca score shows up fantastic, but my issue is that the inclusions on this one are showing as twinning wisps which are quite large.
The Dealer states that it is truly eye clean, but there are 5 of them starting from the centre of the table stretching out right to the edges in different directions. I would need to have the stone shipped, no way of seeing it in person first.

The price is good, can anyone give me feedback based on this criteria please? Are that many twinning wisp inclusions something to worry about?

thanks!

if things feel good, look good, get it shipped to you or an appraiser and go from there. Spending a little so long as there's a written statement of return for 2 weeks or etc will protect you and having someone who can assist you is a asset and verify things as good or bad, most you might be out is the appraisal and the shipping, which on a several thousand dollar stone is cheap, and cheaper then traveling to see it yourself.

Some vendors will allow you to ship to a appraiser with special arrangements too, Others know more about them but it cant hurt to ask.

Twinning wisps can be good inclusions because quite often the stones are eye clean. Whether or not two or five is an acceptable number can only be determined upon seeing the stone. Just make sure if you go ahead and purchase the stone that you have a good return policy if needed and that the return policy provides you with enough time to have it independently appraised if you feel you need to.
