February DC Area GTG at Intergem

Hi DC area Pricescopers! Intergem is coming to the Dulles Expo Center on February 19th -21st. Some of us at the last GTG in January were interested in meeting up, and if anyone else is interested, please chime in. It would be great to get a group together!

I like to go on Friday because it''s less crowded, and if I need to return something (or decide to buy something!) I still have the remaining 2 days. But can anyone else go that day? I''m open to the other days too, just let me know

I can not go on Saturday for sure (hosting a Lingerie Shower for my friend) but may be able to go either Friday or Sunday, depending on how work that week plays out...

When you have a list of participants together would one person kindly use the REPORT CONCERN button to let me know? We''d love to have you beta test our new way of keeping GTG''s a little more private as to the time and date.

I can only do this once I have a list of people so please let me know and we''ll get it started! I can always add later as well.

**Minor threadjack** but since you all saw the sugarloaf ring at TJB, just wanted to let you know I emailed Eric at Swala Gems and in the next couple weeks they should have the rough to cut me a 10x10 sugarloaf! It''ll be my first gemstone purchase and I''m SO SO SO excited!

I''m definitely interested. At this point I can probably do Friday, but I''ll know more as the date gets closer. I''ve had to go in two Fridays that I had off lately due to work issues.

Vc10um, excited to hear about your purchase! That ring at TJB was lovely, but super pricey if I remember correctly. They do have such great designs there though!

Haha, you''re right, vc - that restaurant light was the worst! Thing about Intergem is, there''s never any shortage of bright, glaring lights, that''s for sure.

Bump! I''ll bring my pearl earrings this time - I have some studs from Tiny Jewel Box, Tifffany''s, and Elana at Future Fashionista. Personally I think its interesting to be able to compare. I''m not sure about Friday yet -- but its a probably yes, just have to make sure with work (haven''t been there in over a week since I''m a Fed employee!)

vip, I''m so bummed you can''t go! I almost considered moving the date, because I think more people could go on Saturday (but I know vc10um can''t make it that day for sure). Heck, I''ve been known to go to an Intergem show 2 days in a row.

Hope the ankle is doing well.

Sad news, all. Just did some calculations on work for this week and I''m just not going to be able to make it. With all the snow closures last week, I have a lot of work that''s piled up and no ifs-ands-or-buts it must be done by the end of next week! That means no Intergem...at least not this time...and possibly even coming in to work on the weekend.

But I hope the three of you that can make it have a WONDERFUL time! Take some wonderful sparkly pictures for us to see...and let us know what you buy!
