Do the feathers on the diagram, especially on the edge, cause any concern? The stone was described with not easily visible inclusions.

Thanks

I would personally avoid inclusions that are near the edge.

The heck with the feathers, I wouldln't buy that diamond becuase of the cut.
Good cut is more important to the beauty of a diamond's light performance than color or clarity.
Unfortunately GIA's industry-friendly cut grade of Excellent includes some proportions that are less excellent than others.

Of all the shapes round is easiest for finding a well cut diamond, using two tools, HCA and Idealscope.
Reject rounds that score over 2.0 on HCA and get Idealscope picture on those that score under 2.0.

That diamond got an HCA score of 3.7.
I'd keep shopping.

When you find rounds that score under 2 get an Idealscope pic.
