What are your favourite romantic songs and why?

Ok... I am weird about music.

I like certain songs because they remind me of people, place, or events in my life.
I love Barry White''s "The First, The Last, My Everything" it just makes my booty wiggle!

I also love songs that inspire emotion! Like Louis Armstrong''s "What a Wonderful World" I get all misty when I hear that one.

I''ll have to think about this one a little bit... but man there are some songs, that when you sing along you just are struck... with emotion... sometimes I''ll sing along to some songs, and I''ll get choked up singing them.. Journey can do that to me sometimes...I also like songs that you just can''t help but smile when you sing along to them... those ones are my favorite. But watch out... I often make up my own lyrics to songs, and kinda play with people that I am around.

Like one time, my roomie in college was seeing my friend, and they didn''t know that I knew. So I would always play, Secret Lover''s by Atlantic Starr when they came into my dorm room.... they asked me why that song would always come on, and I would say, huh? does it bother you? it''s just on my loop! haaha...

Follow you follow me reminds me of my aunt and uncle. They had this love affair that was serence, fun, and totally sincere. my uncle died of lung cancer at the age of 54 two years ago and for some reason it reminds me of them... like they would follow each other anywhere.

My favorite song is "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel and then it makes me think of Say Anything. I kind of ruined it for myself though because it was "my song" with my ex and clearly we are not together now. So my second favorite is "True Colors" because that is "our" song between my FI and I, even though it is not a typical romantic song it means a lot to us.

I LOVE that song. I forgot about Norah Jones! She''s soooo soothing. I love all of her songs. I also forgot to mention "With or Without You" by U2. I get all dreamy when I hear it.
