I''''m in the process of looking for a wedding band and am under some time constraints, unfortunately. I really want an eternity band that''''s about 2.7-3.0 ctw. I''''m planning on eventually purchasing another eternity semi-mount to replace my e-ring, but using the same 1 ct diamond for my center stone. My center stone right now is a G, SI1, ideal cut. I''''m hoping to eventually upgrade that as well sometime.
I''''m considering the RC Cento eternity band, memoire, and A.Link. I also tried on the HOF, which I thought was absolutely gorgeous, but it definitely outshined my e-ring and won''''t look to hot if I replace my current e-ring setting with a HOF eternity setting and keep the same center stone. Does anyone have any suggestions on any of the rings I''''m considering or have any others that you think I should take a look at? We''''re getting married 9/5/09 and I''''ve been told that it can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks for an eternity band to arrive so i really need to make a decision within the next week. I wish I didn''''t wait so long to start looking. I''''d appreciate any suggestions!

Hi!

My favorite eternity band is the U-PRONG eternity band. I have this band and actually got to name it. You can find it at this site

http://www.whiteflash.com/Wedding_Bands/Annette-s-U-Prong-Eternity-Band_1400.htm

If you click on the pic you will be able to see the side of the band. It sits really low (that was a priority and I had it made with 10 point stones...total of 2.30ct. I would have gone bigger like 15 or 20 pointers but then it would have been too big to wear with my e-ring

BTW the stones are all ACA from whiteflash

My favorite designs are the Memoire and the Tiffany. They are both pretty pricey, though, so I had Whiteflash custom make mine (8 point stones) to look like the Memoire, and sit as low as the Tiffany. It took a couple of tries to get it right, but it''s now the most perfect ring I could imagine. I didn''t like their stock eternity band as much, but their custom work is excellent.

I second the vote for WF and the U-ternity band. I absolutely love this ring. I wore another one before getting this one and this one is the most comfortable, beautiful ring ever. Mine is 2 ctw (20 10pt stones) but my finger size is a 5, so that''s all the stones they could fit in! The ring is very easy to clean since the setting is so open. And the WF ACAs are beyond amazing.

not sure if you wanted prongs or not, but here is mine done by Brian Gavin. mine is only 5 points each, but i''m sure you can get it done with more carat weight. Very Low profile

Thank you all for your suggestions! I think I forgot to mention that my e-ring is very difficult to pair with anything other than the matching wedding band, which I really don''t like. It''s channel set and there are 4 sidestones on each side that are graduated in size ranging from roughly .17 ct to .10 ct. It''s a lovely ring alone, it''s just not as nice when it''s paired with a wedding band. I''ve been looking online and visited another local jeweler. I''m considering having my diamond reset in a Precision Set solitaire setting and then going with either a Memoire eternity band or a U-prong Whiteflash band. There are pros and cons to both. Memoire has a fantastic trade-up and resizing policy. Whiteflash has beautiful diamonds (from what I''ve read) and they are about 1/3 of the cost of Memoire, but eternity bands are not eligible for their trade-up policy since they are not certified. Resizing in the future would also be an issue with Whiteflash. What do you think? Is the Memoire worth the extra cost?

This decision is so much more difficult that I had anticipated!
