if you read the repair envelope you sigh, it tells you the you are responsible to insure your items and you release them of any responsibility if the item is damaged while in their posession.Also i wouldnt take my good diamond jewelry to any repair shop that makes their money by repairing jewelry fast.most of these type of repair shops pay their jewelers by the piece and so quailty workmanship can suffer so the jeweler can make more money.I would shop around and compare prices...these places charge alot more then the average because you are getting the jewelry back alot sooner then most repair shops.
