Farnese blue diamond goes up for sale

 That blue is just so beautiful & dreamy!

It is beautiful but wow that is going for a LOT of money. Interested to see at what price it sells at auction. May 15th we will find out.
Thanks for the link @foxinsox.

I wonder if they would just do a straight swap for my pear? I have pretty impressive specs? Might drop them a quick email... :Up_to_something2:

Wow! What a pendant that would make!
I have a .75 OEC, VVS-G, that was given to me years ago from a former jeweler.
He claimed that it was a Blue-white diamond from the Golconda mine. He said it looks blue in the sun, which it does a little. I later had it appraised and it came back as a G.
At the time, I didn't know much about diamonds, but I always suspected he was just spinning yarns....but who knows? IMG_20180406_073328499.jpg

sigh....*adds to cart*

I'd halo it.

I'm so glad I already found my holy grail so I don't have to long for that blue beauty.
It would put quite a crimp in the ol' budget.

I believe that GIA should be able to confirm if it is a Golconda stone, if you wanted to ask them? I presume they are able to scan and analyse the internal structure!
