The good kind
We're not a family that's played many games (monopoly, clue, etc). Now my sons are 22 and 18, and aside from the occasional game of scrabble, we don't play anything. Can anyone recommend some fun and easy to learn games for 3 or 4 people??
You’re alone in a room with a bomb. Your friends have the info to defuse it, but can't see the bomb. So everyone will need to talk it out – fast! Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes.

Only one person can see the bomb and he describes to other players what he sees. They must read the manuals and tell him what to do to diffuse it.
I suggest disabling the Morse Code part of the challenge...that’s where we always explode.
I love mystery type games or cooperative games so I’ll throw in Mysterium and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes! Also, Skull is a really fun and quick game, another fun and quick game is One Night Ultimate Werewolf. Finally, I love the game Secret Hitler a LOT but I’ve never played it with less than 5 people so you might need to check that it’s still playable with less than 5!
I used to love playing games with my family when we were young. I only know the "old school" games however. We played lots of Monopoly, Charades, Card games (May I), Risk, Checkers, Chess, Scrabble, Battleship, Clue, Trivial Pursuit.
When I broke my leg my DH and I started playing Go. It is a great game but challenging. So much fun and worth learning if you are game. Hahaha, game.
