The last time I had blue sapphires set was in 2019. I had the layout and design in mind since spring 2019, but I waffled on the inner halo melee color (between yellow diamonds and rubies). I decided to set another blue sapphire first, and then in 2020 I was intent on setting lavender and purple spinels before setting another blue sapphire... After all this time, I finally couldn't wait to execute the design. Hope you find this eye candy as delightful as I do. Thanks to Enhoerning for the fine detail and craftsmanship! I don't have it in hand yet but expect to receive the ring this weekend.

Pair of pear diamonds on either side of the blue sapphire. Other melees in first tier heated rubies. Second tier features Afghanistan origin emeralds, the most neon ones I picked out of the batches of melee from Yvonne, and the third tier features 1.4mm red Burmese spinels and 1mm unheated rubies from Yvonne.

The gallery curves are an element I wanted, inspired by the curves on ruyi designs.

It's remarkable. I hope you can show a short video of this beauty in motion when you receive it because I would love to see it.

What an incredibly fun ring! I hope you get lots of wear out of it - it would cheer me up every time I put it on. Congratulations on your beautiful piece.

Your gorgeous new ring has a very Art Deco vibe, which I love :-)

What a gorgeous design. I love geometric shapes and this is such a joy. Great colour choices too. Love it.

Beautiful ring, and I love the combination of colors, like many of your other gorgeous pieces.

Excited this morning so went outside to take pictures. Came back with mosquito bites. >:(

I'm not totally satisfied with my camera because it doesn't capture the sparkles, which throw off the color balance.

Here's the ring at its best...

and its worst.

Then of course there's all sorts of in betweens based upon light.

Cool-looking ring. It has an art deco bordering on retro look! I like the colors together and the pear cut diamonds on the sides are also a very creative design element that balances out the shape. I mean it as a compliment when I say that this reminds me of a complex and pretty quilt pattern. :)

It's great! Even that 'worst' pic looks pretty good to me. :-) The pics in soft light show the geometry. The pics in sunlight light show the sparkles. I'm guessing that what's missing is the carefully chosen balance of the colours - it's always hard to capture sparkle and base colour in the same pic. But we can imagine it while you enjoy it :-)

I recognize that blotter!

Lovely ring and beautifully executed! Very happy for you!

Thank you, this is indeed a piece that will get lots of wear. This is a piece that in my opinion has 零死角, which in Chinese means that the actor or actress has no "dead angles" aka looks good from any angle. I'm probably biased, but I think this ring has interesting elements from all angles and therefore does not bore me :)

Your gorgeous new ring has a very Art Deco vibe, which I love :-)
Thank you, Inken said she thinks it is similar to 1920s India-inspired Cartier... Which I don't know how to respond to because Cartier is a very lofty aesthetic that it's (blush inducing) flattering to be compared to!

Wow!! Your ring is gorgeous! I love the design and the stones are beautiful
Yes, well, I fell in love with the stones and wanted to come up with some design that would show them all too great effect. Just the diamonds were from Inken, and the rest were collected from Yvonne's Etsy shop over a couple of years.

What a gorgeous design. I love geometric shapes and this is such a joy. Great colour choices too. Love it.
Thank you, LD, you have great taste, so it's such a great compliment to me that it comes from you.

Beautiful ring, and I love the combination of colors, like many of your other gorgeous pieces.
Thank you T L, I love your combinations too, and it's a treat whenever you post pictures!

Thank you, I think I managed to collect some very nice melee stones and used them all together in one composition. Before I started my colored stone jewelry interest, I used to like coloring as a way to de-stress. Playing with layouts of colored stones is fun and a creative outlet for me; much more expensive than coloring books, but I'm already addicted. I do think of my jewelry as art projects, at least the ones that I design myself.

Thank you, I think it takes natural light to bring out the neon color in the melees, but even in dim lighting where the gems look more subdued, I like the colors. One of my paraiba rings with ruby, spinel, and sapphire melee looks amazing in some lights, dead apart from the paraiba in others. I'm glad this is not the case with this ring. I only picked out the best melee in every batch I bought for this project!
