Fair Price for Square Emerald Cut??

Hi, I have a wonderful boyfriend with terrible jewelry taste. Because of this, he proposed without a ring and asked me to pick out my engagement ring. I really like the following but there''s so much information about Asscher cut vs. Square Emerald Cut that I''m completely confused. There are so many experts on this site that I would really appreciate their comments on the the following ring. Is it a fair price?

You can search for similar stones and compare prices to get an idea of relative competitive pricing but this only goes so far - especially with fancy shapes. I beleive you might get more responses by asking the question a little differently. This forum tends to be more helpful towards evaluating the quality and characteristics of pictacular stones in question. If you can post more info on the stone such as the GIA or AGS report number (this is a GIA/AGS stone right?). Also, post the ASET image(s) of the stone so the light performance can be evaluated (you are purchasing a fancy shape from a vendor that supplies images right?).
Additionally, the vendor in question tends to effect the "good deal vs. bad deal" as well ie return policies, upgrades, etc. If this is a known PS vendor then so much the better. If we are talking about a pre-fab set, some low tier lab graded or worse uncertified/house graded, no images provided, you found on e-bay that is another thing entirely.
FWIW posts with little information to go on tend to get little by way of responses - HTH

Images are needed in order to properly evaluate this diamond, particularly ASET and clear detailed photographs. Also a Sarin scan to get the crown height. Is the diamond online or have you seen it in person?
