Fair Price for JannPaul Ring?

I am considering purchasing a lab diamond engagement ring from JannPaul, but the price and especially the duty and tariffs (16%) is giving me pause. I would like to get a similar ring at a better value, but not sure where to turn for a GCal 8x rated ideal cut and superior craftsmanship. I’m located in the US and could potentially order through a retailer in New Hampshire where there is no sales tax (if I’m not mistaken).

E to F color
VVS1 to VS1 clarity
Cost: $4300-4500

Personally, I think JP is the top notch cut with diamonds. It has to fall into your budget, though. Their settings are hand-forged, so that seems to be the going rate, esp for 18k with what I assume will be decagon pave.

But it's the classic question of - is it worth it now, or do you upgrade later?
