hi, a newbie here with a question. i am seeking a channel set band to match an E solitaire. facets only carries f/g color in round, but i see they do carry e/f color in princess cut. i am interested in a channel set band, approx. 3.2mm wide, about 16-18 4 pointers(i''ll request them to modify an eternity band so that it doesn''t go the entire way ''round the finger in stones). what do you think? can i go with the f/g rounds-will they "match" my E stone, or should i go with the princess? any princess owners, are they sparkly/white enough? i really would prefer round stones, but want the color to be close.i have read so many great posts on these rings. thank you. i enjoy reading about all of your sparklies so much.

I personally don''t feel the color has to be exact between the two rings. I have a Facets engraved milgrain channel band and it is really beautiful. I''d think I could wear it with an E-I color diamond without a problem.

I have a Raphael band with .05s and an E color e-ring. There''s absolutely no color difference at all.

I think you''d be fine with the F/G color. Smaller stones seem to look whiter anyway, so it sounds like a great match.

I have several eternity bands from Facets and my ering is an E. I don''t notice a difference in color at all.

I don''t think you will see a difference. I have a facets channel set round eternity band, 2.37ct size 5 1/4. I had it appraised locally and I paid $3500 and they local person told me that it should sell around $6,000. I priced locally and that was about right.

The quality is amazing and the diamond came out in appraisal just as they were sold. They appraised as ideal cuts VS1s, F/G color. My diamond is a 1.63ct round F color and the side baguettes are G color and I can''t see the difference. I think with an E stone and F/G eternity band you will be fine.

I just wanted to chime in how much I love my facets band. And they were SO nice to deal with. Quick to respond to my emails!

As everyone else has said, you will not see a difference! Get the rounds since those are what you obviously want more

Do you know if Facets will repair their bands for free should anything happen, like if stones should fall out?
