faceted gem beads?

Hey-

i am going to the Gem show this weekend and maybe thinking about some faceted ruby beads to have made into a multi- strand bracelet. Any suggestions for discovering if they are the real deal... or am I buying glass?

Try to find inclusions. I doubt someone would have the temerity to sell glass at a gem show, but you never know.
