I tried on some new eye makeup for a friend''s wedding and it gave me hives. I don''t wear a lot of makeup and the worst reaction I''ve ever had was some redness or minor rash. This was different, I was super puffy and itchy and miserable.
I had to take loratidine, zyrtec, and benedryl to make it go down (not all at the same time.) Washed with Cetaphil, Neutrogena daily scrub, and Fresh''s soy cleanser. Plus I put on frozen eyemasks and cucumbers. The cucumbers really worked.
Although the swelling has gone down, I now have lots of dryness and wrinkling where there were hives. What can I do to make that go away?
The irony is that this stuff was supposed to be rejuvenating for the eyes.
*sigh* I look much older with more significant bags now.
It''s called HydrAction, and I''m trying to figure out what I might be allergic to in it so I can avoid that ingredient; I never want this to happen again.
