There''s no way to tell, it has to be looked at by the vendor, in person. And, do you mean face up, or at all? Need to let them know!

When I asked the vendor (he''s looking at the same pic I am) he said it probably would be able to be pronged. That didn''t give me too much confidence.

I think if the vendor told me that, I would be a bit uncomfortable buying the diamond because he sounds a bit wishy-washy. I know the diamond is being magnified and to the eye it may look different, but the black inclusion seems a bit big for a prong to fully cover. The black inclusion seems to branch out and not just be concentrated in one spot.

Does he not have the diamond on site then? I would feel the same way, that''s not good enough. You need a real pair of eyeballs looking at it.

I know nothing about diamonds other than what I''ve read, but I''m curious about this one. What clarity is this supposed to be?

The clarity depnds on the size of the diamond.
SI1 if its 0.10ct and I2 if its 10ct.
It should be easily covered by a prong if the stone is less than about 1.2ct.
larger than that would need a large prong
