I narrowed things down to 2-3 stones.

1) computer generated ASET, I'm only getting an IS image as the company I'm dealing with won't give me a REAL ASET to compare to this comp. generated one. In general, how accurate is this comp. gen. one???
Table: 57.4
CA 33.8
PA 41.0
Depth 61.1, thn-med faceted girdle

What is the reason why there is a blue ring where the bottoms of the arrows meet??? Will this show up in the IS image as a dark ring in the center of the stone under the table???

2) real ASET, real nice stone GIA XXX... which is way better than my current XXX
Table 56
CA 35.5
PA 40.8
depth 61.8, thn-med faceted girdle, awesome ASET!!!

Tell me what you think, btw... I found a stone that scores a 0.9 on the HCA, and I'm waiting for the IS too!!!

What happened to the AGS0?

^ The comp. gen. image IS the AGS 000! Is something wrong with it? The only thing I see that may be a problem is the slightly shallow crown... but it scores well on the HCA. 1.2

33.8 coupled with 41.0 and a 61.1 depth (with that ASET) is a perfectly fine combination of proportions. Don't sweat that crown.

Thanks Mr. Rhino. BTW, I've been searching your inventory for new stones, but nothing has turned up for me! I was really hoping you were going to have something for me!

It's best to give them a call Tritan. hey have access to inventory that isn't listed on their site, so if you have something in particular in mind and want to work with them, you should give them a call or shoot them an email. ;)

Help help help, please help!!!!

These are the IS images. To me, one image is best... and I know what it is... But I know to my soon to be, these images mean nothing and there is one number she is set on: Ct wt/Size. What's the difference in spread??? The top stone is 7.25 mm in diam, second is 7.08 mm in diam. Second one looks more symmetrical and the arrows look better... GREAT. I hit a wall right now.

They both look great Titan. The second one has more black around the arrow shafts and the stars and arrows are nice and black but there isn't anything wrong with the first one either. That one also has nice black around the shafts and symmetrical arrows and dark stars. I think the visual difference will be negligible so if I really wanted the extra size and everything else was the same, I would go with the first one, it's still going to have fantastic performance and I really doubt that you would be able to tell them apart side by side.

edit: are the stars larger on the first one? because I think that i would really like that.

Star lengths are both 50%, LHF 80%... The second stone scores a 0.8 on HCA vs 1.3 for the first stone

Forgot to mention stone #2 is a GIA XXX with these dimensions, this is DIFFERENT than the stone with the ASET above.

Table 54
depth 61.7
CA 33
PA 40.8
Stars 50
LH 80%
Med sl thk girdle.

Any issues, you think???

Stone 2 GIA XXX

No, I see absolutely no issues with either. They are both beautiful diamonds, if they are priced similarly and have comparable C's, then I think it's a no brainer and would go with the larger one.

AGS 000 is $1700 more (still $900 less than my original RB), and ONLY 8 pts more (0.16mm larger).

Hmm...

A sheet of copy paper is approximately .10mm so the difference is size will essentially be 1 1/2 sheets diameter. My husband thought I was crazy running around with sheets of paper and asking people if they thought that they would be able to determine a one sheet diameter difference around a 7mm stone.

LOL, that's funny Christina. I appreciate your positive comments!

anytime, but seriously I think you have a win win situation =)

To me, the GIA XXX looks better, and I don't think the extra sheet of paper around the circumference of the stone should make the $ difference that much. If it was something I could visually see (cut quality and color) then YES! But a 0.15 mm difference.... hmmm... I'm thinking that can be used for an AWESOME SETTING!

Does anyone seem to think the combo of numbers for the GIA XXX is a problem???

Table 54
CA 33
PA 40.8
depth 61.7

LGF 80
4.0% girdle (med- slight thk)

I guess none of the experts are commenting b/c they've figured out where the stones are from?
